Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University is honored to have one of its own appointed as the first female leader in the institution’s history since its establishment in 1999.
The Vice Chancellor of the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University, Ing. Professor Hamidatu Saaka Darimani, unveiled her vision on Tuesday, 17th June 2025, while addressing executives of various Unions, Deans, and Directors of the University at separate meetings.
Ing. Prof. Darimani pledged to address the infrastructural deficits of the University through collaboration with some Public and Private Partners. She promised to work closely with her Management team and other key stakeholders to create a work culture that promotes research, teaching, and learning, as well as industrial collaborations, administrative processes, and extension activities driven by technology. Ing. Prof. Darimani intends to increase visibility of the institution on the global map and embrace collegiality through recreational activities on campus.
Present at the meeting were the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Baba Insah, the Registrar, Mr. Vitus Songotuah, and the Director of Finance, Mr. Musah Basig Diaboh.
