The Industrial Liaison Office ensures that Industrial attachment and other industrial related activities for both faculty and students as a means of enhancing their professional competence and practical skills acquisition are achieved which will strengthen the link between the University and industry for academic relevance and cooperation for national development. Thus, the objective of the office is to equip graduates of the University with practical skills in order to reduce or eliminate re-training by employers to the barest minimum. Additionally, it establishes a linkage between academia and industry for technology transfer, while making it possible for academia to assess the quality of its programmes for adjustment.
