Mission
To provide theoretical and practical training aimed at preparing middle level managers and supervisory personnel for the Civil Engineering and Construction Industry and train students to acquire hands on skills in applied Civil Engineering works through Competency Based Training.
Overview
The Department was established in the 2006/2007 academic year to run a three-year programme leading to the award of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering. The Department’s mandate is to offer training for aspiring professionals to assume the middle level management and supervisory role in the Civil Engineering and its allied Industries.
