The Faculty of Applied Art, Design and General Studies (FAADGS) was established in October, 2012 with three departments, namely: Departments of General and Liberal Studies, Industrial Art and Fashion Design and Textiles. The main focus of the faculty is technical and vocational education and training. The Faculty of Applied Art, Design and General Studies is the youngest of the four faculties/schools within the University.
The Faculty of Engineering (formerly School of Engineering) was established in November 2006 as a statutory requirement of the Institution. Its mandate is to provide leadership, policy direction and coordinate activities of the various departments under its directive to achieve the Institutional objectives in teaching and learning as well as in research work.
The Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, which is the fastest growing faculty in the University, currently contains five (5) departments. It has the mandate to train students with cutting-edge, career-focused practical skills in Applied Science Domains, for rural poverty reduction and national development.
